Best Practices

Use UPPERCASE Tickers

For speed and accuracy, always write ticker symbols in UPPERCASE (e.g. MSFT, GOOGL, NVDA). Otherwise, the bot may need to translate the given company name first - which adds time.

Be Specific About Periods

If you're asking for data, mention the period clearly. Examples:

  • "AAPL revenue last 7 Quarters"
  • "META net income Q4/2022 vs Q4/2023"
  • "Which companies are set to report earnings next week?"
Short Queries Work Fine

You don't need to write full sentences. There are equivalent:

  • "AAPL revenue last 7Qs"
  • "Show me revenue for AAPL for the last seven quarters."
Context Awareness

Our AI model uses the last 3 interactions to understand your intent - but only if relevant. If your new question is clearly unrelated, it will ignore earlier context.

Avoid Ambiguity

If a request is unclear, the bot might ask follow-ups - or misinterpret.

Rule of Thumb:

If your colleague wouldn't understand your question, our AI model might struggle too.

Additional Tips
  • Add dates, quarters or "TTM" when you need exact data.
  • Use simple GAAP financial terms (EPS, Revenue, Income Tax, ...)
  • If unsure, just type: "What can I ask you?"
