Best Practices for High-Accuracy Responses
- Use uppercase tickers, add country suffix where necessary (e.g. DBK.DE or ANZ.AU).
- Structure like Data retrieval -> what to do with it.
- Split complex tasks into multiple prompts. get data a -> get data b -> compare a against b in terms of ...
- Avoid vague words like "recent", "good", "performance". That leaves the range your looking for wide open.
- Use clean grammar - punctuation does not matter.
Troubleshooting
If the result seems offTry:
- Adding a period: TTM or last 4 quarters
- Specifing a country when different currencies or regions mix your result: biggest US stocks or Australian lithium stocks
- Splitting your query into multiple simpler ones
- Asking for raw fundamentals first, then the KPI or what to do with it.
Some companies or segments may not have the metric reported.
