BurCell Technologies has partnered with EarnDLT to digitize and verify environmental attributes of its waste-to-energy fuels using blockchain-based Quantified Emissions Tokens (QETs). The initiative enhances transparency and regulatory compliance for carbon-negative alternative fuels like renewable natural gas and solid fuels produced from municipal waste. The project aims to deliver over 1 million MMBtu of verified, tradable certificates by 2028, supporting decarbonization efforts in energy markets.
